I'm getting a motherboard with one raid controller that has 6 sata2 connectors.

my setup will be 5 hdds and 1 blueray recorder on the controller.

can i set 2 hdds to raid, and leave the rest as normal disks?

mobo will be a P6TD Deluxe or GA-EX58-UD3R. (not getting a sata3 mobo because of the gfx slow down when using 2 gfx cards)
